How do you figure? I thought that's basically what all great poems were about.

Not always. Some are about the beauty of love or why love is important. Either love romantically or patriotically or platonically.

But heartache is not exactly new to poetry either.

I always hear the best inspiration comes from pain, but what do I know? I'm no artist, I just scribble.

I'm no artist either, I'm not that creative. But I have a muse, I have ideas, I just have no way to express them.

Kind of like that poem, right? You just describe what you feel and what made you feel it?

I have no idea, I should stop talking when I'm clueless. I tried to fake it with Nicolas and he told me I know about as much about music as a deaf mute who's been dead thirty years.

He is very creative, isn't he? I would kill to have the kind of drive and passion he had. And, of course, the skills. I don't.

He creates things of beauty and misery, they really touch you. It's painful and magical and I'm in awe of it.

I guess! I mean, I've only heard some of his music so far, but that stuff was definitely something. Like, I can't even say if overall I liked it or not? But there wasn't a moment I didn't really want to feel something.

I suppose it's a unique audience he plays for but I find it all very fascinating if I'm personally honest.

Me? Interview Nicolas? But -- over what?

His creative process? I don't know, you're right, he is fascinating. Besides, get him to take off his shirt and I bet we can get lots of people interested.
